The URL is www.pukkelryggede.com. Pukkelryggede is a
nickname in Danish for family. The site traces the Melchior family
about 300 years to it's roots in Denmark and follows the family
which is now spread throughout the world. Although not purely a
genealogical site a lot of research has gone into creating that
part of the site and the site ensures that family members
wherever they are in the world stay informed of all developments
of the rest of the family. I hope that you will find that the work put
into the development and maintenance of the site deserves one
of your awards.

It had to happen. Den Pukkelryggede has now been
internationally acclaimed as one of the top family sites in the
world. The Heritage awards for genealogical websites has
accepted Pukkelryggede as a received of their distinguished
awards and also given some fabulous words as you will see in the
enclosed with the awards praising the work gone into the site.
We are now listed on the site with our award and on behalf of the
family I have chosen the award symbol which could only be the
viking ship.
Congratulations on your achievement and recognition. It is
thoroughly well deserved and I hope the acknowledgement which
sadly wasn't accompanied by a cash reward will serve as
encouragement to keep up the effort in the future.
